In June 2025, the charming town of Kolín played host to “Partnershipyard,” an international partnership-building activity that brought together youth workers and representatives of educational NGOs from across Europe. The event, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme through our Erasmus+ Accreditation in the field of Youth, aimed to strengthen connections and promote collaboration within the European youth sector.

Over several dynamic days, participants from a variety of cultural and organizational backgrounds came together with a shared mission: to build meaningful partnerships, exchange innovative tools and ideas, and lay the groundwork for future Erasmus+ projects.

A Platform for Connection and Collaboration

At the heart of “Partnershipyard” was the goal of networking. The activity created a welcoming and engaging space where participants could get to know each other, discuss their work, and identify potential areas of collaboration. By fostering open dialogue and mutual understanding, the event helped spark the initial connections that can lead to impactful European projects.

Sharing Tools, Tips, and Techniques

Participants also had the opportunity to share educational and management tools that have proven effective in their own contexts. Through hands-on sessions and peer-to-peer exchange, attendees showcased innovative practices that support youth development and non-formal education. This practical knowledge-sharing enriched everyone’s toolbox and inspired new ideas for improving youth work across Europe.

Planting Seeds for Future Projects

Looking forward, one of the main outcomes of “Partnershipyard” was the joint planning of future Erasmus+ projects. Participants engaged in creative brainstorming sessions where they explored various types of project formats supported by the Erasmus+ Youth Programme. These sessions encouraged strategic thinking and laid the foundation for future cooperation.

Learning from Each Other

Finally, the event offered a platform to exchange good practices and experiences. By reflecting on successes, challenges, and lessons learned from past projects, participants gained valuable insights into effective project management. These real-world examples served as a source of inspiration and practical guidance for all involved.

Partnershipyard in Kolín was more than just an event—it was a step toward stronger, more connected, and more innovative youth work across Europe. As participants return home, they carry with them not only new contacts and ideas, but also the enthusiasm and momentum to create meaningful change through future Erasmus+ projects.
